Muzz: Thanks man - I kinda like using a frame though. What do you suggest? Oh and yeah, I did plan to give him those general shoulderpads, but ran out of polys... Luckily though I found an unused hidden element in my mesh that I could delete and finally give him some. Brilliant minds think alike, eh?
dehebo: Thanks!
Chai: Thanks man.
Here's the presentation shot - like I said, please crit if you got it!
Lovin' this so much. Really nice lookin' shaders on that presentation shot. The front cannon and controls are a lot of fun. Definitely an excellent contribution to the Green Army's arsenal. Good stuff!
i´v been watching this thing from the beginning and i was never realy sure it would be finished.. but now it is and i have to say it´s realy a refreshing piece and very well executed too
also the beauty shot is realy cool and catches the "soul" of the model very good
Dude!!! General Krank is so funny! Excellent Presentation Image, that's my favorite of all the shots. Bold move with the red, and I like the lighting on the panels! Well done!
I really like this; very refreshing to see an entry like this. Love the description/back-story, the references to WW1 tech are great and fit nicely with the theme of the entry. Good luck!
Man I love the atmosphere you set up for this guy. Easily one the best presented entries this year, but I guess we shouldn't expect anything else from you
mat: Thanks!
AimBiz: Thanks!
Slum: Thanks
bilbana: Thanks - I know, red is the shit really Red and the word 'panache'
Snowfly: Aww shush
Man it feels good this thing is over. Sorta like coming down from a high and putting down a 2-ton backpack you've been carrying for so long you stopped noticing until it's gone, at the same time. Really wanted to nail the presentation this year, that was last year's lesson for me. That and sticking squarely to the theme yet taking it balls-to-the-wall extreme Had fun, happy with how it came out. Will proceed to completely forget about it in the eons between now and judging. Good luck to everyone!
For next year I'd really like to see turntables be a mandatory part of the submissions. Really think it adds to showcasing every angle of a model - but maybe they should up the limit to 20Mb, eh?
I just wanna say thanks again to all who loved my entry - I subsequently love you too Glad to have made it into the top 25 and happy to see some judges really liked it, too. Most of all I'm satisfied with having realized my initial vision to the T. Being in control of that and not compromising is a really nice thing.

With that border, i think just making it thinner would work, you know what. its fine the way it is, if you dont have any ideas just leave it .
Construction shot done, tell me what you think and what to fix.
Oh and my badass thumb
grats on finishing, and best of luck!!
