Looks cool, but I have to agree with roflness. It's just a recycled game with improved graphics. I won't be picking this up, I still have the original and I'd much rather play it with a control pad rather than physically boxing and looking like a twat on the Wii.

But you are a twat....
On another note, I'll be in Melb for the F1, maybe I'll see you around?
recycle indeed. why rape classics with nothing of value other than fancy looks and flashy animations? at least the dreamcast brought something new to the table back with ready to rumble. yeah and I'd also rather play the oldschool one than this.
This is one of the few titles that makes me want to get a Wii. I love the original and Super Punch Out and still play them to this day. My main concern is the gameplay being dumbed down. The others relied on split second timing to counter punches and such and hopefully that doesn't go out the window if it's using the motion sensors. Amazing how well those two games have aged. They're still a blast to play.
Can this be played traditionally with GameCube or classic controller? I've been noticing Nintendo giving people more options. Mario Kart Wii was like that. You could ditch the stupid tilt wheel crap if you wanted.
You play it by throwing punches with the remote and nunchuk, and using the stick for the other commands - or by holding to the remote sideways like a NES controller and using the d-pad and 1 and 2 buttons. You can hot-swap these control schemes just by unplugging the nunchuk.
gota say, i giggled with excitement! even proceeded to link it to everyone on my msn list. I dont have a wii, but if i find osmeone that does, im buying the game and taking over there living room for a while.

Haven't touched the Wii since Capcom vs Taksunoko.
I always assumed Lil Mac was about half that size though (or everyone else was 10 feet tall).
I hope they bring back mario as ref, and Soda Popinski. Mr.Sandman was cheap as sh*t, and harder than Tyson.
