So, I'm kinda torn as whether to make the face more distorted or keep it 'together' so it reads better...what do you guys think? (the holes on the forehead are for horns)
The detail on the top 2 plates are really nice and I like them a lot but I am afraid that on the rest of them the read very noise and hard to make up especially on the finger. I would just go with a nicely done metal with singal detail piece on them.
I really like the direction you're taking with this, and game boobs can never be too large
Best of luck in the next 11 days, and I cross my fingers we'll get an extension this year ..
Yeah, I think if I start sleeping at the office I can get it all done, but I won't be able to put lots of my time into rendering and posing it like I wanted to.
Ok, after working all day Sat, Sunday, and pretty much all day today....here's my low poly progress with baked lighting. I stilll need to optimize the mesh, because I'm around 9500 right now and still have hair and wings and spear...but there's quite a few places I can optimize.
yeah that shield needs to look a bit more like old skin in my opinion, when skin stretches it would be more transparent and more white, so I think you should make some parts of the skin where its most under strain a much more white/yellow/pink colour. well done for getting so far
GED: yeah, I agree about the skin. I want to get a first pass on everything and then tweak teh colors to match. Here's what I'm thinking for the end result:
not sure why I didn't do this variation before...cause I think originally this what close to what I envisioned...but tried different colors suggested by a friend:
Kinda odd, but I posted like 3 updates since the last and they're not there...oh well. Here's where I currently am. Still have to texture weapon and make wings...
right now it's just diffuse and normal. I'm going to do a second pass on the textures before doing the spec. Just wanted the get the pose and rendering part almost done before going back....just in case.
The wings turned out great, couldn't believe they were 3d at first as they looked like painting.
The final poses are rock solid and reflect your concept well .. even your text image looks good, well done man
Awesome, great to see you got her done!!
The wings turned out really well, as well as the spear and the shield. Great job, and congratulations on completeing her!

Yeah, I agree...I'll keep working at it.
Awesome awesome stuff, can't wait to see more
right now, it kind of has a grudging acceptance...
The trousers sculpt is cool too.
Really nice work though.
Shoulder Armor:
Kinda what the parts look like together. With stuff I plan on doing.
I think the next 11 days are going to suck.
