Latest Update:
OK, so its my first thumbs lot of crap in there, one guy got my attention, i started developping him.
I'm not yet sure if this will be this one, i may do some more thumbs cause first idea is not always the best (and because i was not inspired yesterday) or just make a major overhaul (i like to make a concept evolve during 3d stage).

i think i agree, i like the thumb more as it looks more inhuman and demonic but then again more abomination than prince
I like the bot in the lower left corner, and of course the one you took a bit further is great too. It has good rhythm, nice stuff keep it up!
I'm still trying to figure how to add more interest to the chest part.
Started on the head:
At this stage im still messing around for a "good" face, may go for a more "crazy" expression...
i like it, great details

Great pirate, and very nice initial sculpt, keep up the great work man.
Still roughly hamering him, i want to place most of the stuff before entering serious details (the sculpt there is mainly place holder except the head which will pretty much be final in shape)
Hin hin hin.
@Zatoichi: I was going more for an underwater pet: moray. I started to sculpt it, but i'm not really satisfied with the form (kinda tube like design) but more importantly I'm still uncertain about the uv space used by a pet. I may not add it in the end, depends on pixel density when everything is uv-ed.
@Slipstream: good old xsi modelling: Extrude faces of a cylinder and twisting, deform by a curve. Done
@Sir_Gimp: dont worry, I'm keeping it in my design folder, will do it someday after domwar
Otherwise I started modeling the anchor, damn, hardest part so far, can't really come with a rich design. I will need some sketch i think.

I was a bit busy doing some paperwork lately, hence the lack of updates. May have some tomorrow
I like the fact that he has shoved his pipe up his nose hehehehe
And for Eddie, someone said it earlier, but in fact I never aimed for that (not an IM fan), i think undead skinny dudes are pretty much forced look alike.
It might be worth a shot, even just some wisps of hair to show he once had one. I would say try it as a paintover first.
*oh and I guess chromatic aberration really is the new lens flare.
