Coldkodiak, yes you're right for the fov. A slightly more
"fisheye" camera shot would be fine. I'll have a try in Marmoset.
Don't worry it is only flat colour texture on the previous post.
Eyes will glow on the final
Back from a three days trip in my hometown in Britany.
Bad weather as usual. I'll have a try with a stormy
ambiance for the beauty shot.
Will have to re-think a bit the general composition
for the guy in the middle don't seem to be jumping
from the rocks behind. Have to test it quick to
avoid bad surprises... Still struggling with Marmoset.
Still undecided for the beauty shot composition.
I like the second picture with the light coming from the right
but I wonder if the models will be cool with such a light
direction.
Decided to kick out the small jumping guy you can see
on the previous posts. The shortened view was not
that good, may be...
The second one seems better but isn't it because we can see the three 'dogs' more clearly? (so the composition seems to work better).
I think the first one will be more dramatic
Thanks Meshiah!
Slowly puting the dogs onto the rocks.
Not a great picture for the moment.
May be because colours are quite similar everywhere.
Don't know how to fix it actually...
YEEEEEEAAAAZZ` this is cool man! I dont know how high your poly count is, but I feel like these guys should run in packs. Is the plan to pose a couple of em?
Thanks guys! Yes I thought about making them running in packs,
and tried a quick compo with it; but that was too much, you know,
kind of "being John Malkovich" movie poster style.
There will be only three of them, I think.
Polycount is 9988 tris.
But you can put as much as you want on the beauty shot, no?
JFletcher > Oh man, you kill me
Yeah I know you are right for the fov.
Coldkodiak gave me the same advice fiew days ago.
But it is down as you said. And I have no
strength left to change it all. Feeling dizzy these days.
At least I'll try to change the clouds wich are really bad.
Oh... It feels bad to know I'm losing points with this kind
of stupid errors. Have to stop rushing.
Anyway, thanks man. Help me progressing.
I keep an eye on your robot and look it every day.
It is so impressive. Hard to swallow my jealousy
Well Gara to get a sky which fit with my light model......I've only used the skies provided in the marmoset toolbag, then I've do all my compositing setup in maya and imported 1 by 1 in marmoset (too bad there is no camera bookmarking in it >.<) , so sorry i don't have magical sky for you . You can check on 1000skies.com there are some usable samples.
Anyway your render is going well and JFletcher already highlighted whhat could be improve
(#160) picture updated.
I think I'm done with the beauty shot.
Had to switch off the glowing blades to avoid
messy composition. Hope it's fine like that.
Great work! It's got character, I can really imagine how it moves. The logos are a bit intrusive to me though, especially the glowing yellow... But I think the composition works, without altering the aspect ratio I can't really suggest anything... It IS a bit pale though, but that's just me.
You did it dude !
That's so cool, I very like the subtile tone of Kerberos on the different plans !
It fits perfectly with the background, so you might think it is real and jump out of the screen to bite you
I agree with rasmus to say that the glow of Kerberos logo is a lil bit strong but it's just a detail, it doesn't waste your work.
Really good job btw !
Thanks Arkhange and Rasmus! You're right, I'll tweak that for the final.
Happy to see that you made up your mind for white hair Arkhange.
It makes him more noble. Your character is great. Happy to see
we both managed to do it.
Shadow of the colossus? Yeah that's one of my favorite video-game.
Do you think of the one in the old temple where you have to use flaming torch?
Or the other wich rushes into columns to make you fall?
Thanks!

i think the environment looks out of scale or something, i think its the clouds.
anyways, top notch so far, maybe rotate the camera a tad and whack up (or is it down?) the FOV to get a neat perspective.

Third guy rendering left + Colours and contrast tweaking.

I think my daughter is ready to fight for Polycount next year
I repent for having spoiled family life during two monthes.
Congrats to your daughter
