This new head reminds me of a previous DW winner... except his creature was more reddish colored... I like the old versions better personally, but this def. has your flare to it.

ps, that is just a head shape to show that he has a head. not the actual head that will be used...so no comments on not liking that head, or where are his sensory organs...cause ill slap my sensory organ right on your forehead
Kinda like the sketches before this one a bit more - the fins are a really cool touch. Overall though I dig his proportions a lot. In the earlier sketch on the right, where he is posed, he kinda looks pharaoh-ish. Maybe not intentional, but it looks cool.

Only thing you may want to do is include some of the wrap somewhere else on his person... on one knee or one elbow... maybe, and introduce a weapon or the like...
The only thing I'm unclear about is are the twin stealth guys controlled by someone else? or are they little monsters about destruction on their own?
hahahah, thanks guys. im happy you like it as much as i do. yeah grady, i took some traveling and layovers to land in a good location. i think what little armor there will be will be covered in wraps and such to keep that theme.
the weapon is the main thing i am not sure on. cause i need something gnarly looking so people will believe something this little can take down a giant bot or a 40 ft demon.
clean, cool design. looks really stalky. if he had a weapon and if he is a stalker I would imagine something small and stealthy. I think though that he needs something to indicate why he is so powerful. Dominance War is all about main characters and right now this guy looks more like a cool side character
Hey, he's coming around man! I would love to see a palid sort of look to his complexion, kinda like gollum but scalier. Lizards have this look about them that make them look like bags, like their skin's too big for what's underneath it. Awesome stuff!

what do the masses say? and if i still end up doing 2 of these guys i will be using 2 of these choices so they arent the same. and try and come up with personas that match the weapons they use.
snowfly- hell yeah!! that is one of the main reasons i wanted to do someting lizardish this year. the baggy skin. i just havnt really gone into that detail on the concepts yet
408- ooh, that could be cool. i might have to try one with chains like that and put the hitch hooks on the end like lobo

The "Slide Down Forearm" one caught my eye as the coolest first. Its fits his character and looks awesome.
The "Hooked in Forearms" make for nice shapes, but is not as impressive as the other ones.
The "Scimitars" and "Long Daggers" fit his character, but are not as unique as the others.
I wouldn't be disappointed with any of the other choices.
Great character. I really like his simplicity, very uncluttered. Those mini scythes seem to suit him, I think. The two daggers are my second favorite, then the meat hooks. Keep it up, looking forward to seeing more.
ok...so i know i have been all over the place with this guy. im not happy with him. he is getting trashed. after talking to a lot of people at reverie i have to do a character that is going to come a lot more naturally to me. something that will get me where i want to go in the long run. so...without further adue...
he is either going going to be summoned by or partnered with a small girl. that way i can get a nice frankenstein juxtapose, almost lone wolf and cub. he fights that much harder because he is protecting this child. and the child can hold her own anyway due to her gnar magic abilities. so...sorry for making you guys make all those decisions.
I like it, but the toaster head could be perhaps revised. For how burly he is, perhaps the shoulders should pop more! He should also be able to crush people in between his pecs.

Cool drorings gavin! do more masks! right now he reminds me a lot of splatterhouse - with the tiny masked head atop enormous traps. This idea is more your style man. Can't wait to see the models!

hehe, that is like the 3rd splatterhouse comment i have gotten. i see it too though. i have some variations with horns and stuff. ill do a fat pass just for you little buddy
fffaaaaattttyyyy. i didnt go THAT fat. but im digging the gut on him. now it is like a little furnace. the whole idea behind the 2 is they have the same fire invoker powers, only he bottles it up inside to increase his strength and she produces it outside for devistating yoga flame style shit.
the demon on his arm i want to still be alive, since demons are already technically dead. so ther can be a fun struggle of its eyes looking around and change of expression. maybe even it mumbling and whining sometimes.

Those chains are cool, imagine if they were a bit longer and imbued to be utilized similar to spider man rope lines or indiana jones whips

Maybe if you painted the little girl skipping around under his feet that would feel a bit more right.
