Argh, wish I could have afforded to go this year. Adam here, recommended that I go which actually got me thinking about it, but I just can't come up with the money (it would cost like $700.00 at least coming from NY).

sir-knight, that's pretty much what our Art Director says too. We can go, if we take PTO, and pay our own way. We have a couple of full passes that get passed around, but that's about it.

I was supposed to be there this year, but days before I booked and paid for all my tickets my Producer and Art Lead (despite giving me prior approval) declared everyone on our team ineligable to attend the GDC due to project committments. FUCKERS!

I'll be at GDC from Monday until Friday evening. Mostly doing private demo's of something we're cooking up here at Threewave, but I should be able to find the time for proper drinks/hang-out if one were so inclined.
