So I'm feeling somewhat foolish at the moment. I just discovered the "compress on save" option in the preferences. This could save me a ton of hard drive space but going through all of my max files one by one could get real tedious.
So I was just wondering if anyone heard of a maxscript that could open & re-save all the .max files in a directory? It seems like a simple thing to make for those who know how to script...but I have not a clue how to do it.
Yeah if anyone could help me out it would be swell.

It'll automatically find & collect all the max files in a directory and all the sub directories beneath it.
Now I just need a script to run in it. Just a generic script to open, save, then close I guess?
