Max to Modo question???

I'm just trying to mess with Modo's texture painting capabilities and when i export my OBJ from max to MODO........i loose my UVs or i just cant figure out how to get them to show.

I've spent the time learning how to UV map in MODO but i have art i made in MAX that i want to texture in MODO.

i even used MAX 09s OBJ export settings for MODO???

any clue whats going on???

    Should import just fine, I've had no problems before with shunting objs back and forth between the two.

    Does the UV map show up in the UV vertex map lists at all? (By default all imported UVs from obj get the UV map name of "TextureUV").

    You may also want to delete the vertex normal map that gets created, too. It's a pain in the arse.

    So you've unwrapped it in Max and you want to paint it in modo? Or you want to unwrap it in modo, too?

    I have some object i unwrapped in MAx that I want to Texture in MODO.

    ok i was messing with the UV MAps in the LISTs tab. So i clicked the TextureUV in the uv map drop down and i was able to see my UVs from Max!

    YAY!
