I'm just trying to mess with Modo's texture painting capabilities and when i export my OBJ from max to MODO........i loose my UVs or i just cant figure out how to get them to show.
I've spent the time learning how to UV map in MODO but i have art i made in MAX that i want to texture in MODO.
i even used MAX 09s OBJ export settings for MODO???
any clue whats going on???

Does the UV map show up in the UV vertex map lists at all? (By default all imported UVs from obj get the UV map name of "TextureUV").
You may also want to delete the vertex normal map that gets created, too. It's a pain in the arse.
So you've unwrapped it in Max and you want to paint it in modo? Or you want to unwrap it in modo, too?
