i have not lost hope... but something tells me angela buried her own sister... ummmmmmm, like hiro/adam monroe style?!? or something? i was disappointed that they lead to this big build up of "this is where it all began for us..." in the previews all week, and it lasted for only 3 minutes... bah....
i did enjoy the noah/sylar mind game... that was very much enjoyable and kept you on the edge of your seat. i'm just glad parkman didn't off himself... i think they need a new villian though, one to counter sylar and get danko out of the series... maybe angela's sister will be it?

It was a good episode, best in a while. Hiro/Ando storyline was starting to annoy me until they found MP. For some reason I reckon dicko has a power, hes too smug.

Yeah, I said before, I think he has a power. I really wish his power was to disappear from the show though. I really don't care for the character and almost feels like they don't know what to do with him. I think he was suppose to be a HRG guy replacement, but people still like HRG more.

Yeah when he met Angela earlier this season, they hinted at him having a power but not sure if they'll go down that road. I'm sick of the stagnate state of Hiro/Ando. Hiro needs to become the future bad ass hiro (but I know that time line no longer exists)..

I loved the japanese southern talking trucker, that made for a laugh. Overall a way more interesting and exciting episode than last week's episode. Is next week's the season finale?

    3 more for this season.

I thought this one was much better. Def getting into some cool plot points. Let's see if they can cap on it.

Yup, definately an enjoyable episode. I just thought the baby scenes with Hiro/Ando were painful.

I also did find it a bit weird that Danko suddenly has this girl he loved so dear, after a few episodes ago them making a point of going on about how he has no one, just his work, blah blah blah.
And I kinda wish Sylar didn't become a shapeshifter... cause now he gets less face time (literally?) But if this show keeps up as is, by next season they'll have forgotten he has that power.

Can't wait to see what's the deal with that sands place and all the bodies...!

I gave up on Heroes...I got so fed up with the stupid "fast chick" and the dumb ass loser cop. They totally chumped Hiro, and the cheerleader is by far the most annoying character.
Sorry I tried so hard to want to keep watching too.

If Sylar is a 'shapeshifter' they are probably doing that because the actor has moved onto movies. I mean he's in the new Star Trek movie so i can only imagine he's planning to move on to bigger and better things. This allows the show to have Sylar decide he likes a new "look" and they can cast a new actor as him.

If you stopped watching the show because of speedy chick, you should be glad to know she's gone now ;) (They killed her off). Matt was united with his baby, so hopefully he'll just end up disappearing to be a daddy shortly. I think they only had one scene with Claire this week, but unfortunately, I think she'll still be a big part of the show (though I don't know why, since she adds nothing to it).

...No one watched the episode this week?

I thought it was pretty cool, getting the history of how the company started and everything. Is the black guy Angela dances with supposed to be someone we know/have met? Cause he has the same ability as Parkman, so I don't know if that's about something...

Also, kudos on the casting! I thought the young Angela actually looked a lot like a younger version of the Angela we know and love :) Same with Linderman, he got that same smile down very well :P

Interesting with her sister, I wonder if she'll show up again? Could do some crazy powerful stuff with controlling the weather... (maybe that's why we won't see here again :P)

I know they've never claimed to not steal from the X-Men, but PLEASE stop stealing from the X-Men! Come up with something original! Great, now we have Storm... except she's a nasty looking, shitbag crazy, old bitch. I mean really, who's that dumb to stay at a place just because her sister said to stay there... that she'd be safe there. I mean, didn't that go out the window once they started the shoot-out (which was of course her fault also). I love how Suresh's father just kept pulling out that needle with no warning every time. And then seems surprised when the kids are scared :/

It's a bad sign when you get the nagging feeling the programme should be shorter..

they expect us to believe so much ridiculous bs.. notman's examples are just a few out of many times I said to myself 'eh?? no?? wha?? EHH??'

It was a bit of a filler episode. Heroes is all about x-men, or wanting to be like it without the big film budget. HRG was on a morning show in the UK recently, he said that it's getting back to it's roots of being a 'drama` series. WTF! I want to see some action, at the moment heroes is too much about the drama and blah, blah, blah. Still interesting, although I can't see my interest exceeding this serie unless theres more happening. Lets have some fights between people, its all politics and bs at the moment.

I think my gripe is they don't really stick to one view of time travel. sometimes they show characters trying to change the future, and their exact efforts cause what they were trying to prevent- and other times they do it just fine. can you have it both ways?

edit: I'll answer my own question- yes you can have it both ways, but it weakens the message- that is if they actually have one

Heroes is on my last raw nerve right now. Nothing interesting is going on! The writing is horrific now and the storyline is going all wonky! Next episode had better be good!
I'll give it a few eps into next season. If it still sucks, I'm out.

So what did you guys think of this last episode? I thought it was a good one. Had some great high points and very few low points. Anytime you can watch Sylar get a little more cooky makes it all the more entertaining. That new power he stole from Mr. Howard was damn slick! The bit with Micah was cool, but he's still a little wiener. What's up with Hiro!?! Let's bring back a favorite character's ability (sorta kinda) and then give him some nasal hemmoraging. SOUNDS like a GREAT plan! What;s up with Sylar not dying? Did Danko just miss the mark? Sylar did say that his G spot was nano-micro-tiny, but this episode he repeatedly mentioned his DNA changing... oh and speaking of repeatedly... let's show his mom stabbed in the chest with the scissors 35 more times... please...

I don't think that this next one will be a good "season finale". There has just been so much screwed up junk that happened these past couple of seasons that the writers have a big hole to crawl out of. The real downside is that they will probably take a really long break, which will do a lot of harm to the series. Just by talking with you guys alone proves there are so many disgruntled fans that at this point will just say "whatever... screw it" by the time the next season kicks up. They better promote the ever living crap out of it if they want to pick up the pace again in a couple months.

I could do without the mommy -sylar switching... that was just dumb. And now he can just switch clothes as well, when previously he had to wear his own clothes and could only change the DNA not the clothes, guess it was the easy way out.

idk, I've given up on Heroes pretty much. I've watched all of them, up to like the 2nd or 3rd episode of this season and I'm over it .. the writing is too differen't from what it was, and I'm sick of the Claire/daddy issues .

Yah... the episode was pretty good... but I swear they're leading up to a way to let Sylar's actor go. And when that happens... I really just don't know if there's any reason for me to still watch the series.

I can't believe how unexcited I am for the season finale. Ho hum. At least I won't have a sick need to watch it every week in the hope it will get amazing again... :P

Yeah, the Sylar mommy thing got really old after a bit. Initially, I thought he was just imagining her, then when it changed to being him playing both parts, I thought, oh damn, he's screwed up now. But then to just keep doing it.... just stop, PLEASE.
The Hiro issue felt like someone was watching too much LOST ;)

I still have hopes for the show. I think there is still enough good about it to keep watching.

Finale was pretty good. Nathan's really dead though I'd rather have him around that have the Ali Larter back again though.. bah

I had a few what the fuck moments.. when he did kill nathan, and then again when Peter transformed in the car... :D Glad to see the writing come back a little at the finale.

    My thoughts on the finale:

    What. The. Fuck.

I found a lot of it painfully ridiculous... it was just... I guess par for the course with the rest of the season.
Nathan dying, and them 'tricking' Sylar into thinking he's Nathan for good? SERIOUSLY? And fucking Ali Larter is coming back as someone else AGAIN? And Peter got Sylar's ability and used it HOW? And Hiro is randomly having issues with his power but its very so what?
And can someone PLEASE tell me: WHERE did Sylar get the flying ability? I can't remember him getting it... since the only flyers I remember are Nathan and Claire's old fling, and I don't recall him getting to either? (Though I might have forgotten something on this point)

And this is just the fucked up-ness that is coming to mind. Not a terrible episode, I suppose, but for a season finale, I expected a LOT better. Also, anything redeeming was overshadowed by "what the crap??"ness.

Sigh. I want to stop watching now... but I'll probably end up watching it again come Fall in the continuing vain hope it will someday be again what it once was.

not sold on sylar becoming nathan, it has potential as a story line, but i'm going to miss quinto.
i'll give the next season a shot, but i'll probably end up dropping it.

as for sylar being able to fly, he could do that way back in season 1 with his telekinesis, just hasn't been shown since

Ali Larter isn't coming back as someone else, she didn't die she just melted, I guess that's why they had that sappy 'blink' when she was shattered. Peter got Sylar's shape shifting ability when they fought in the hotel room, and then he used it against him, by going back outside and working with the the presidential aide.

I guess if you want to keep Nathan around and sylar needs to leave for a bit to make Star Trek you have to make someone else Sylar for a bit. I found it kind of fucked up that they 'know' Nathans dead and instead of accepting that, oh lets just make sylar think he's Nathan...

Overall, I thought it was a good finale. Not as much anxiousness as I'd like to have after a finale, but still a good ending to the chapter. Killing off main characters, when there are too many already, is a positive IMO.

Ali Larter returning is crap though. I told you guys she's be back though ;) I haven't liked anything they've tried doing with her, and if they can't make her a solid part of the storyline, then lose her. We don't need the mutant slut.
I was also very bothered by the closed door fight. I guess a camera couldn't make it through the door either, so we had to see Claire's eye looking through the crack.
And it was more than obvious, they are setting up for having less of Sylar as himself. If Quinto gets too busy, he'll remain as Nathan, otherwise he'll figure things out and return to normal.

Best episode of the season. Though that's not saying much honestly. I'm so tired of the Sylar vs. Peter finales. I think they should have killed off Sylar instead of Nathan. The writers/producers/etc need to learn it's ok to kill off actors for good.

Ali Larter coming back? Man I hope she bites it in the first 5 minutes of Chapter 5.

Hiro dying after Ando 'touching' him in a bad place is pretty awesome. That's the only story right now I'm anxious to see play out. Everything else in the show is pretty meh.

I thought this was a solid wrap up to an uneven season. If anything this season started getting back on track after Bryan Fuller came back (he returned with the incredible Cold Snap episode.). His return obviously had a strong impact on the writing staff and I'm curious to see what he comes up with now that he has an entire season to work with.

That said I'm starting to wonder how long they can keep Zachary Quinto in the fold. I think this guy is a fantastic actor and his career could sky rocket after Star Trek!

I agree about Zach and I honestly hope he does well enough to leave the show. For him and the show. Sylar is one of my favorite characters, but it's time to move on. Additionally, I hope for Zach, that his acting career isn't already tied too tightly to the character (You already see people saying Sylar as Spock). If he leaves the show, they will likely drag out that storyline a bit longer, then hopefully end it and move on.

Oh, and is anyone watching these 'webisodes'? They look cheesy as hell and I haven't bothered with any of them yet.

Hrmm.. I didn't catch that.. must watch again. I saw him get the nose bleed and fall over after being told not to stop time again and then he stopped time to save HRG from getting the injection, and then fell over. I didn't see Ando have anything to do with it though..

I thought it was a great end to this uneven season like Marcus Dublin. This is why BF came back, and he showed great skill in starting a new foundation out of a pile of rubble. That may have been too gay and poetic......

I will miss Quinto, he's just such a great actor and it was great to see him flesh out Sylar's true character in the finale.

Maybe Masi has some big projects (acting or ILM) lined up and he'll have to take serious time off? Maybe that's what's up with the nose bleeds and eye hemoraging?

If they remind the audience one more time of how much HRG has sacrificed for Claire, I am going to sumo kick my fucking tv off the wall. Good, gravy. WE GET IT ALREADY!

Same here. Hopefully with new writers at the helm, it might be a chance for them to get out of their hump. Last 2 seasons have been mediocre with very repetitive storylines and plot devices (guy sees future, time travel to stop it, fails, good guys rally, stop it), so seeing something different, anything different, might be good for the series.
