ah what the hell, I Think ill give this one a go, it reminds me of At the Mountains of Madness by Lovecraft which made me pick it, I'll be improvising a lot though...lets hope I finish
Ue3,
which brushes? PS or zbrush? I made em both at any rate, my PS brush is just a verticle kind of slash with texture turned on and using a faint paper texture to break up the strokes.
hey man.. while i love your style im starting to think this could use with some more medium frequency detail on the stone. it's looking very lava like right now but even lava has some bigger forms when it cools.
thanks for all the comments! I'm having a decent time coming up w/ details i'm just still mulling over what my hero piece is gonna be, might have to be a large ominous building at the end of the stairs but that feels so cliche!
Jordan, what're your plans to really push the evil aspect of your piece? The huge curved spire's in the concept would work well, but judging by your rock design they'd not be as spikey & menacing? That accurate or do you have some crazy shit planned?
im probably gonna drop the closest rock meshes cause they're a bit too round, but i'll be pulling hard cut shapes from the concept, I just need to figure out my central piece first

Some of the forms in this remind me of sea creature fossils, perhaps it could be worth checking out pics of such for further inspiration.
anyway just my 2 cents.. well 1 cent anyway
