Ecological Tycoon - Need Artist

TEAM ECOThink
Our Team, ECOThink, was selected to represent France at the Imagine CUP 2008 in the game development category and finished in mondial TOP 6. Kind of the IT Olympic games, this competition gathered more than 200.000 competitors from more than 100 differents countries.
Project Ecological Tycoon
Inspired by Civilization & Sim City, Its a management game based on creating a sustainable environment. The player must consider the economic side, social aspect and ecologic dimensions as a unique element. There are many pedagogic informations in game in order to explain to the player the consequences of its actions. Whats our plan now ?
We want to participate to another international competition: Dream Build Play until mid-September. After, we will continue our project in order to commercialize our game on Xbox Live Arcade.
Perfect Profile
Thats why we're looking for 1 or 2 graphic designer able to realize 2D tilesets and animated sprite. They must have initiative spirit, accept the artistic way and could be available several hours per week. A game experience would be appreciated. Geeks are welcome and will feel like home!
Most of the work will be the creation of various elements of the game :
- building sprites (sometimes animated)
- world tilesets (grass, sand, sea, river, mountain, etc.)
- some ideas in order to add easter egg Grin
- CG skill would be appreciated for CG introduction
We want a graphic style between cell-shading (for cartoon aspect) and « sweet » aspect of Anno 1701.
