Anyways, the likeness is quite good. I instantly recognized both.
I would say that both feel a bit too soft. Feels like you might've moved up to higher sub-division levels before getting your shapes down properly in lower ones.
I recognized Sly instantly but I had no clue the other one was Sam J. If that is who it's supposed to be, I realize that this one is pretty far along but, I would look at some more reference for him, i would say your cheek bones are to defined, the lips should be a little larger, and the gap between his lips and nose should be a little bit more. but the sculpt it self is impressive.

Sam Jackson was obvious to me.
I tried to slam through these both fairly quickly so my next one I am going to take a while on. Just trying to get the hang of the tools.
Typically I am a vehicle and environment artist so this was a nice departure, but something I think I am going to do much more of for fun.
