Has anyone had huge problems converting maya to max using fbx.
I have dloaded all the latest plugins and that just makes matters worse.
Exporting to 3dsmax 8 sp3 from maya 7.0 uisng the old plugins kind of works apart form it breaks the envelope size when skinning and adds weird legacy bone stuff.
with the latest fbx plugins its just screws up totally, warning about unsupported bone scaling -
all the bones are in the same point in space with the mesh totally borked
driving me mad

The latest pugins are actually worse than the default ones:)
Did you delete all history on your objects?
