Sad news indeed, I was a fan of his work back in the Top Cow Comic days and I'm grateful for the signed sketch of Fathom he did for me many years ago. RIP Mike!

Yeah i had no idea until i was getting my comics on Friday, very sad news indeed. He was my wife's fav artist. Thats alot of talent lost in one month...

Yea i'm slow but i just found out today while i was at the comic book store picking up the new Fathom bounded volume. Sad times. His work was a big influence on a lot of my art/ anatomy while i was learning how to draw. My bookshelves are mostly stocked with his work. Sad news for me after getting back from a nice week and a half vacation =(

Yeah, my biggest influence was studying Rob Liefeld's anatomy.
