Hey guys, I'm looking to build up my library of badass art books... and need some suggestions! I also think this could be a good repository for information that everyone could use for some sick reference books I was looking through my bookshelves and couldn't find anything that'd really get my head going
Essentially looking for suggestions and ideas to the books that you always find yourself looking at, referring back to for ideas/inspiration, or just really inspire you. Any style of stuff works, modern, ancient, digital, oils, sculptures/actionfigures, etc etc etc.
Post Links if possible, otherwise title/author-artist would do!
In this day an age of sculpting programs like zbrush and muddbox I feel the need for tradiational sculpting methods is higher. Actually I always felt that sculpting was always much more relevant to the 3d modeling part than drawing anyway.
So, two books by sculptor Bruno Lucchesi, that are awesome when it comes to human anatomy.
