Starting late, work/life has been kicking my ass lately. *Hopefully* banging out the low-poly and casting normals tonight. Textures Sunday. The intent is to eventually fully mod this into HL2 or TF2, so I'll either do painterly stylization or realism (or both, just not for this comp!)-- crits & opinions welcome. Hopefully I can receive some of the crits in time to make any necessary/suggested changes.

I know its sort of a mute point to critique how this gun probably should be changed to make it so it can actually be held- but, ...im not :P

Thanks for all of the supportive replies. I dipped out of work a little early to get any extra time I could, still worked 11 hours though. Up since 5am and no sleep so far, I really hope I can finish this off-- time to put on some coffee. It was quite a struggle to get this design down to below 7000 tris (everything was so damn round!). I have a feeling some of the detail will suffer due to the initial complexity, but the basic forms (and the spirit of the gun) are present. I need to unwrap now... C/C welcome & appreciated
frubes - yes, its hamster tubing, and it may just be pink, blue or some other funky color once we're done!
MoP - I figured it could be its own HUD. It might create a much more enveloping experience if done properly. You sort of just see when you're out of ammo with this gun-- no more chillas in the tube, time to find more, or pick up the spent ones...... so... gooey.
Better get trucking, only a few more hours left.
