Yeah, with the icon of a hand and feet I assume you click where you want the player to go and all that...like the old-school PC adventure / puzzle games.
Nonetheless, the 3d looks great. The outdoor cabin and the library shots are definitely inspiring.
I actually don't find it that good. Sure the 3d looks technical advanced, probably pre-renderer but not good looking. Too shiny, too clean, too procedural, sometimes too noise. Things don't fit well together, that bad 3d look that everything looks out of it place. If that is all realtime then they should waste some of that power on the characters that look like 5 year old models. If it is pre-rendered background then I've seen better on the Gamecube.
I agree that I would have much preferred well-textured lowpoly than this. The crypt for instance: it's shiny, it's noisy and bunpy, it's... just not all it could have been.
