working on some old school stuff - dorothy for gameartisans oz challenge pure diffuse paint. Im further on than this now but Ill post it up soon deadline is tonight :P
not really done with this, still want to make a pedestal and pose her but had to submit her in this state...hmm I forgot to include the stats its 3898 tris with 1x diffuse map...hmm just realised my diffuse might still be the wrong size(2048) so Im disqualified anyway
The car has a cool design to it, but I think that when you're designing boxy inorganic shapes like that, you shouldn't be afraid of shift clicking out straight lines with the brush. It'd feel a lot more solid that way, and god knows how hard it is to draw a perfectly straight line on a tablet.
loving the swamp monster up there ged, and i sadly feel your pain with overwriting the proper fullsize pic LESSON LEARNED
good looking studies as well, i think you could go for a bit more depth by pushing some of the contrast in values. definitely a steady increase in quality though.
facebook friend portrait + pirate theme, she kinda requested it so I took some time on it probably 4hrs which is way too long for a sketch but shes my friend :P
Like the elf in the chair! Really makes me wish I didn't suck when it came to fleshing things out, and fleshing them out quickly.
I also dig what you were doing with that quick environment on the 4th. Are you more comfortable with environments than you are characters? Don't see a lot of them here.

thanks I find characters more interesting than environments but Im starting to enjoy environments more lately
Finally got a medium sized wacom after having a small for all these years! went for photorealistic/hyperreal colour type thing on this study so lots of subsurface colour and hopefully I learned some anatomy too. It was fun but I enjoyed it too much and spent 6hrs!
