While the El Camino is cool - it has the front half of a car and the back half of a truck - nobody has ever made my dream car: The front half of a truck and the back half of a car. It would be like a tow truck with a half a car on the back. That would be awesome. I would call it the Cruck.

I wonder what came first the mullet or the el camino... Both have the same basic idea, business(car) in the front and party(truck) in the back.

Oh my fucking god. I can picture the commercial for that...
Still say it looks more like a modern 'cuda than challenger, but it's damn cool nonetheless. The new camaro's front is lookin good, but they need to do *something* with the rear end (it looks like ass, hahaha, get it?).
LOLs! I think it would be nicer if you could make the roof of the car just as high as the trucks roof, then at least you could chat to your passengers instead of assaulting them every time you fart!
It looks ok, but if its going to be used for hauling stuff you would'nt want it to get scratched up, like having a nice Merc with building equipment in the back. I thought utes were pickups.
[/ QUOTE ]Isn't that vehicle that these loonies are getting so excited about called a pickup in the US? Its a car with a tray for carrying building materials, dogs and eskys full of cheap cans of beer. Thats a ute as far as I'm concerned.

As you can tell I can barely tell a car from a truck.
edit: then again, I do have some two by fours I need moving *really fast

looks as nice [or ugly] as pretty much every other car available.
I'm personally loving this revitalizing of the 'classics' in modern skins... old school is the only school.

How about the Challenger then?

Actually, the funny part to me is my first car was a '76 Malibu, which was the car they based the el camino on.
