Mudbox Stencil/Stamp Question.

I'm wondering if there's a way to apply a stencil or stamp to selected faces a la the stamp tool, without having to paint it in manually with the overlayed stencil feature. The stamp tool seems to do this to some extent, but leaves the round falloff. Basically, I want to be able to create a suitable stencil in PS, import it, select the faces I want to affect, set the scale and strength of my stencil, and boom...apply it to selected faces. Anyone out there have any hints/tips they can throw my way? Thanks.

Hi you can select the falloff curve of your bush at near the bottom of the UI. Just use the flat looking falloff curve to get rid of the round falloff problem. Also under stroke settings of the brush try checking "Stamp Drag" That can help you place the stamp where you want it at full strength. One problem is that "Stamp Drag" has trouble when you drag your brush outside of the silhouette of the object in the viewport. Hope this helps!
