2 6 8 are kinda cool. I think you need to refine your thumbs a bit more though. Take your time with them and get some sharp edges rather than just the blobbiness you have.
HAHA, nice! This is great, and I especially like the egg laying ability. It is a good thing if the artifact improves his egg laying ability (you could probably make it that the artifact actually allows him to do it, where he could not before).

If he eat heart he can lay quickly an egg.
This egg contain baby soldier which quickly grows. The same that his parent, with the same memory
then more there will be enemies more soldier will be numerous!! h
