DWIII - 3D - Sandbag - Undecided

More than likely going to go with a Warlord as I'm not much of a magic casting type lover...Not sure how much this is supposed to be "classic" Post-Apoc meets fantasy or just a reason to outlaw electronics...but I'm gonna try to stick with a post-apoc inspired theme anyway.

I've always liked the idea of throwing random salvaged parts on a guy you'd find in a landfill.
This war is 1000 years after DomWar2 and that was in the year 3106. Which gives you room for crazy imaginative objects that could be placed on him.

some more sketching...still not getting too far. Maybe a different solution for the arm on the left...not sure.

Going for a fire/lava or air/lightning artifact I think...still undecided.

Not sure if this direction is turning out to be "snazzy" enough for this contest...Did a little lunch-time redraw and I still feel like I'm missing something...might just start over or get rid of the whole post-apoc aspec (sadness)...

starting to take it in more of a "traditional" fantasy direction now...thoughts?



the idea is he was a well respected knight who was betrayed by his Lord and "tainted" by a horrible artifact (darkness/void) which has taken over his mind and transformed his body

I haven't quite gotten to the physical mutation part yet, that comes next...

full story can be added if anyone is interested

New concept sounds interesting, looking forward to seeing a whole concept shot. The armor looks good, but it'll be what you do with the mutation and stuff for contrast that tells where it's headed and what it needs.

The flamy hand guy looks more like a collage of a bunch of your crazy ideas. The latest one is quite a bit more consistent. Keep goin ur makin progress all over this shit.
