Shooting for a halfing/hobbit type character. Not sure if I want to do the quirky caster type that can't ever seem to cast the right spells.. or a jolly fistfull of pain type warlord..

Sooo.. trying some other directions.. thought of an ivy type creature that uses armor as a "shell" like a hermit crab. The artifact is like some seed thats in his mouth that gives him the ability to move and what not. Not the best 2d person, so just trying to get ideas rather than make perty stuff. Gonna spend some time later to work up more ideas on how the armor/creature interact. Right now its like a bowl of green spaghetti

thinking that this could be a cool nature like creature that uses an artifact like shard in a lantern. The shard glows and gives the creature the ability to grow much larger than its normal size. It sits in caves or dark environments and used the shard as bait/lure like an angler fish.
Latest looks good, not a bad direction. Think it needs something to give a bit more character and contrast, right now it's leanin' towards just-a-monster town.

Going to mess with the form more when I make the base mesh. The artifact is either like an egg/meteorite/rock with a lil creature that uses it to summon a larger "slime" form.
It'll be in a ribcage.. might have more bones/random junk in the slime.

I really like the idea of the marlboro thingy. All mouth. Make it fly and it could almost be a flying polycount spaghetti monster.
