    I want to give this viewer a go and was just wondering which homebrew carts people have got this working with. R4 sounds ok by the prevois posts. Has anyone got it working with an M3 real ?
    Great news that the development is still ticking over, and animation support sounds nice. Thanks for sharing this.

    After updating to the latest homebrew SDK the app broke. It's now finally back to the way it was, so I can start adding the new stuff. Still not going quickly, but you can expect stuff to happen now.

    I just want to thank you Labyrinth for this cool little app -
    I went and got a DS lite today (seeing as its my birthday)
    and banged this straight on an r4 -
    brilliant stuff! Needed to change the bmp to 24 bit
    but apart from that it worked like a charm.

    Sadly i have yet to get this working with my models, only the boring sample models. (Why didn't you throw in a TF2 low poly instead! :P).

    I need to get back around to trying again sometime, cuz it does seem so cool!

    as it stands its an inavaluable piece of kit!

    Art Machine - keep trying, bizarrely I havent had any success loading the
    example models...I'm using version 10, they just dont show up.

    Have you tried changing the scale of your models? Mine are showing up fine
    at 60 inches high using Max.

    I'm using an R4DS version 2 with the USB microSD card gadget.

    Wheel - thanks :) yep 128 works fine but it had to be 24 bit bmp otherwise
    colours all garbled

    sama.van , You might have trouble finding it in Japan, Nintendo just had those devices outlawed about a month ago. But aparently stores around akihabara or whatever the video gamer area is, still carry it if you look hard enough. Act fast before theyre gone, might have to ask the clerks about it in case they're in the back ;)

    As the other guy said, youll need some kind of R4 or Cyclo DS card, theres lots of other brands out there. And you'll need a micro SD chip from any electronics store to put in it.

    Hmmm, I got back to trying this once again and am having problems still. When I load the .nds it takes me to a white screen on top and black scrron that says FAT init: OK on the bottom. I can't do anything from here, can anyone help? I have the .nds along with all my .obJs in the same folder called modelviewer.

    I'm using an R4.

    You can order one from www.dealextreme.com. I got a 3-in-1 cart from there (DS memory expansion) and it works like charm.

    Aww, I would love to see some updates to this viewer. I'm currently testing some scenes that use large amounts of separate objects and textures but it sometimes hangs upon loading. I get some error with texture paths showing two or more slashes '/'
    Also, there seems to be a problem with unloading objects as sometimes the next one i load freezes the viewer even if that one loaded correctly right before, a 996 triangles test object composed of 3 elements ( face, hair, other) and 3 128² bmp.

    Would be nice also to have pan view or some more camera controls...

    Anyone knows where I can find another viewer until Labyrinth comes back ? Even source code is ok as i'm sort of a developer but have little to no knowledge in graphics programming yet XD.
