often the best way of doing this is to download a "quake3 model viewer" then load in pak01 etc from quake3, the model viewer should output the relative technical data for any given part. You may have to unpak the files but don't worry because quake paks are just zip files.
It's worth noting that quake models come in 3 parts, head torso and legs. Whether you can find a model viewer that can figure out how to plonk all these files together into one model is another thing entirely. Although I think they do exist.

What means NumTris, NumVerts, numFrames, numMeshes???
