He comes with toys! (A pipe wrench & a gun.) Select the item in mind, and use an Attachment Constraint on the hand of choice's ItemHolder bone, and he'll be ready to bash & shoot shit instantly.
Don't mind how anybody uses it, if anyone does bother at all. The UV maps could'a used some loving, and but re-skin it if you like. Some geometry in there is unnecessary, and could have been cut. Ran outta time. : ) I'm just happy it's done.
Like to thank Quasar for lots of help on rigging, and Spacey and Peppi's low-res texture mastery. (in particular for this piece)
PS - I love critique, *and* putting it to use. Think I could have pushed the texture a little more in certain areas, and I could have definately used my UV Space better. Lessons learned, can't wait to do another.

such a lowpoly love should be full lit and without shaders, that would be ownage^^
I think Notman is right, you should take out the word "end". Or change it to be a palindrome like "level" since it is mirrored. It might be neat to see one of those level bubbles under the word. Pfft its a SDK I'll do it myself =P

Haha... You and Notman have very reasonable complaints. Truth be told, I periodically put random shit on the back to see how it would look period while I was texturing him, and eventually I put END there... i thought it looked cool and Russian-like so I left it there... Shame.

I'll start off by saying this character is really, really awesome...and I appreciate putting him up for use
I've been doing first person animations for counterstrike and such for quite some time now...but never really anything with characters. Nevertheless I felt like messing around a bit ;D
Soooooo.....I'm pretending I have a sidescrolling adventure/platformer esque game to put him in (someone go make one!)
Basically its just one of those anims that plays when you sit still for a long time. I love the visor lol.

Hmm, Uly, I think the groups in the .obj version are still incorrect. I was playing with them and the leg packs & face are part of the "body" group. it's not a huge deal, just letting you know.

Thanks for the comment sun. I placed all of the Cosmo's actual body is in the body group just for simplicity's sake. As for the leg packs, I knew it already had about 4 bones dedicated to satchels, packs and whatnot for secondary animation, and that another 2 might be unnecessary. As such, they're part of the 'body' group to just further simplify things. In future projects, I'll get the naming convention and mesh grouping to make a little more sense. : ) I'll take your comments in mind though for next piece, danke!

Like Spanks above (years ago) I've been lurking 'round for quite a while, then found this thread and decided to... join, I guess.
The model looks great, I wish I could get my hands on it; happyjames.com isn't working and the microwavetower blog has no download links for this (I've searched for it, really).
On the other hand, I'm more a coder than an artist. I can get some things done in Maya while Max just gives me the pains...
