Is this worth $400 for Modeling @ Work

It has a Geforce Go 6150 which does have shader 3.0 support.

On the other hand, its only a 12" 1280 x 800 ( WXGA ). So Im not sure if that's going to become a headache in max and zbrush. Or textures in PS.

Is it worth it if I want to use it to model with at work (lots of slow time, but old non agp computers).

I of course will very everything works before purchase. But wondering if its a really good deal since it will leave me at a very thin line to pay rent this month.

i'm using the same machine, and max/zbrush run fine with it. Don't expect to be playing any modern games though

Seams like a good deal... but you better check it for heat damage. Those video chips ran hot and something tells me someone might have played a few too many hours, without the proper cooling. hopefully its been treated well and its just time for them to upgrade.

Actually if you're willing to spend a bit more, I bet you could buy a little better.
