DB yea I'm pretty much the same way. Portal2 is the most recent game I've finished (last weekend) and that came out in April, I think that is as close as I've gotten to hitting the "hot spot" after a release in a long long time.
There are games that I'll play just for fun but the majority of the time, the time investment just isn't worth it. Doom, Quake1-2-3, HL1-2, TF1-2 where all amazing games not only for the 1/3 I enjoy (the game play) but for the 2/3 that let me fiddle with their naughty bits.
So HL1-2, not only was it easy on the eyes back in the day, so much so a lot of people bought her calender and collected her autograph, but I got to date her in her prime... and that fuckin rocked.

That's like a junk food junkie finally trying pizza for the first time ever.
So anyways, I know guys that hate all Pixar movies.
They make this stance by picking out minor points in the plot development as to why all pixar movies completely blow.
HL2 is the equivalent of a Pixar movie.
People are going to wonder why you hate it, and no matter what you say will never sway the opinion of the masses.
I think I just fell in love with you..:poly111:
