That's how I make it after I am satisfied I run a turbo/mesh smooth on it and adjust accordingly. I only create the fabricated objects in this fashion to have them on my portfolio as game art pieces, glad you like it.
Awesome! Great translation from the 2D to 3D. The green arms look a little first pass to me. Maybe its because they lack the spec you had going in the concept.
I love it! Would love to have one of those on my desk at work, or sitting on my monitor.
This is very nicely done. However, in the concept the horns appear assymetrical (2 horns to one side, one to the other), but in the model you have them evenly spaced (1 left, one middle, one right).
You might not want to edit it at this stage of completion, but it would be a pretty easy update.

Yes I agree but I wanted to try and stick to the concept as much as possible.

I took the advantage of being able to once finaly not have to worry about the polycount though, before posting I did take some rings/tris off area's so the actual final was more than 2400.

Yea, I could have made it exactly though before submitting the final I did ask them if they seen anything wrong with it before I sent it out to them, they didn't seem to have a problem with it so I left it.
Thanks very much for stopping by and commenting on the design I appreciate it & I am glad you guys like it, I will be requesting an image to post (hopefully soon) if they do go through with it.
Thanks guys I hope to pimp more stuff soon...

Well.. surprised no one has said this yet. It's great but the limbs don't actually connect to the body logically, they are just throw on. How about some socket fat or the likes?
Nice texturing. Is this being made into some kind of bean bag toy or no? The green arms are less thick in the concept, and the claws do not appear separate from the err..forearms. Great job matching the face & everything else, I like it.

Nice colors.
Perfecta!
but why so many polygons?

The face is spot-on by the way
