Also, Steam couldn't find you. You sure you typed your ID correctly?

Nope, apparently I can't spell my own alias. But I had the URL for my page set correctly so I never noticed. Crazy system, all these different ID's.
Are we going to choose a group? Both are growing now.
Coldwolf, I'd say shut your group down. 'Polycounters' has 22 members already and for everyone to switch like that would be a pain in the ass. It's just a name, it gets the point across. And a lot of people are here already. Let's make things easy for everyone and get the smaller group to move over to the larger one, yah?
Everyone that's added me as their friends: I'm adding you guys to the group now Sit tight!
Shut em both down and start over with a public group. =D
I really don't see why it should be private when this community itself is open to the public. I doubt we'd see many people outside of polycount hanging out there anyway. Game isn't out anyway, so there's still time to fill up a new public group before monday.
Adam, it's not my group--it's Striff's. I invited people to it because, as I said earlier, I wasn't invited to "Polycounters". (Still not! Someone halp!)
mm, bickering is dumb. I really just think its silly to have yet another community when they're virtually the same, save the one you've made can have a random tard join in. The only different I have in Polycounters over the other members is I can change the graphic. Oh the power trips to be had. All members can do the same thing as pretty much.
The gist: yet another polycount group, but the difference is that its public, is silly IMO.
Join p o l y c o u n t. The group for us that Capt. Jack (gauss) has created. It's public, you guys should have no problem joining. Once you're in, kindly leave the Polycounters. In the mean time I will be figuring out a way to get rid of the group. I think I may need to kick you guys 1 by 1 so please bare with me as I try that out. If not, just leave and go over to that one - I'll see you there shortly. :P
Let's get the non-sense out of the way and just game together, yah?
if you search for polycount only then you will find it in the steam community. p o l y c o u n t or p o l y c o u n t ([PC]) will give no hits that will help you. :P
So confused, I have no idea which Polycount group is the proper Polycount group.
I've got most of you on my friends list anyway so I guess it doesn't really matter all too much.
TF2 DEMO SOON!
I think we need to sort out who's actually running the official group. I was a member of Adam's group, but that appears to have dissolved. There's still two others. One is Gauss', and the other is Striff's.
Yah sorry guys. Gauss and I, er, talked last night and to make everyones lives easier we figure that Gauss' group will be best. It's open to the public so anyone can find it & join.
I haven't opened steamed for a while. In fact I didn't even have it installed on this computer. I wanted to buy Orange Box, so I d/led and installed steam. I logged into my account and found that I already have Ep2, Portal, and TF2 waiting in "My Games" section of steam. I'm assuming it's because I bought the collectors special edition version of Half Life 2 when it came out... F'n awesome!
When is Portal actually due to be released? I'm wanting to play that one more then ep2 and tf2.

...so that's why you guys are playing Peggle...
[/ QUOTE ]I was wondering why people were playing that game also
Either way it would prevent random people from joining the group.

SteamID should be Jackablade.

Thank you and good night
Lovely. I can understand why someone would want to make a group invite only, but it sucks when no one is online to invite.

Which is the proper one?
My username is jgarland, for anyone interested.

Striff: You'll have to kick everyone from your group, then leave it yourself to close it down.
