his voice was an inspiration to me in music, and i wish his family well!

This makes me sad. I just saw last night in a headline his health was getting worse then I get on the computer this morning and he has passed on.

Sad news Snemmy that's what I saw too, also that he was given the first Italy culture award a few days back. His music still plays at my family gatherings every year during the christmas holidays.

Pretty sad, i heard on the news last night he was pretty ill but had not died, have to admit, he lived a full life tho

Sad news indeed, when I was a kid all I listened to was rap and rock music but my grandmother made me listen to Pavarotti and other classical music. Looking back it's made me appreciate other forms of music to this day and I also have a few of Pavarotti's albums as well.
