I did some sculpting last night but no pics. I'm going to at least finish the clock trees.
Does anyone know a way to replicate the lighting effect on the clock faces? they kind of have that turned-on-a-lathe look

Maybe use a record image as a bump map?

I believe it would be done with an anisotropic lighting model, i think max has one that you can replace the standard phong or blinn with. It basically lets you define a non circle highlight.
