So it's been over a year since i've used 3DS max to any real degree. I am trying to get myself back into 3D modelling, as i studied it for 2 years, and i want to get my lazy arse into the games industry.
My first step is some small MODs for Oblivion, i am going to make a batch of weapons; the first batch being a load of standard Viking age weapons.
My first weapon is this
Albion Arms Huskarl Sword. I'm going to try and keep the polys below 1200.

Just looking to keep myself motivated by being active on here again. So any crits or advice is very welcome, and i will keep on updating this as i go.
A quick query, how do i render the model with the wireframe over the geometry? I've forgotten.

Probably not the most interesting work to follow Next step is the pommel, which i think may be more difficult.
