sweet, im pretty big on the sc series, and these screens have me pretty excited. Regarding character design, I have to say that ivy's boobs are ridiculously big, but seigfried's lookin like a badass, even if the only shot of him is from the back.

They need to back the fuck off on the tits, Ivy's are just too stupid. I mean, i like some nice breasts... but there is a point where you cross the line between a character with large breasts and being obscenely massive.
That Fresnel shader is a little much in spots.

Moose, can you ever back off on tits:), I always have a tendancy to move towards them:) haha. Yeah they are kinda large, and not sure if you guys remember but in soul calibur for the dreamcast, there was an adult age setting that you could put into your vma and the girls boobs would bounce more. I think if you put your age at 99 they just constantly went up and down. Might not have been Soul Calibur, could have been DOA but was one of them.

It does not look any better then the dreamcast version to me other then things glow to much ...I'll have to wait and watch a video to really make a call on the graphics

I'm not a great fan of the velvety look of the shaders on pretty much everything (characterwise), but it looks to be quite pretty regardless. These screenshots aren't much to go off, though, so i'm looking forward to seeing some better ones. Or better yet, to just play it.

I'll agree that the screenshots are hard to go by, though.

Can't wait, it look amazing, I want to see it in motion. I can't imagine how takis tits will fly about in the intro this time, but I don't have a problem with Ivys boobs (one of the main reasons I want to see it in motion.. I'm curious how those... work..), but if they got any bigger it would just be like OMFGGG

they went overkill on that Fresnel effect. the scenes are getting so busy it's difficult for the eyes to focus on the action...besides ivy's air bags.

Hrm the fresnel does look a bit much, but i've always enjoyed soul calibur with their crazy costume designs and plethora of fluid moves, so I'm sure it'll deliver that in spades..

Ivy is the dominatrix, and while her bust size is a little silly, its more or less in character. Its no where near as stupid as what they did with Taki who looked like the sort of girl who could leap around without being thrown off balance by flacid meat a few versions back. Anyway, whatever. As long as they don't try to inflate Seung Mina, I'll be happy.

My prediction: In SC5 it is revealed that those are not breasts on Ivy at all, but rather egg sacs for the new characters they are introducing. That Ivy is in fact Voldo's twin brother.

Taki's outfit looks like fine fur on that one crotch shot. A little T&A never hurts anyone in a soul caliber game. Maybe I just don't care as much since I probably won't play the game till it hits the bargain bin in 3 or 4 years.

the shadows are there, just not super harsh.
