You know, this is a pretty funny video, but Indian callcenters are a bit more high tech than that, and no call center is going to send calls to an agent when they are already occupied. The bit with the signs with common slang and lingo is pretty accurate tho.

Also, India natively speaks english, so they generally are coached on how to mirror the callers accent and culture. That part is pretty dead on.

Indian callcenter's flourish because its considered a high level job over there, in america its kind of looked down upon. The Turnover rate for US callcenters is insane.

I have yet to be satisfied by a customer service call that was handled in India. Even just to activate an XP installation, I got sent to India, went through MS's 20 step menu system, then was connected to someone in India that I could barely understand. Not to mention the connection was awful. I then got disconnected after about 30 seconds. I called back, went through the menus again, and this time I was able to stay connected, but I could not understand the letters the person was telling me :/ I was finally able to activate the install after repeating just about every one of the 50 numbers/letters about 5 times each.
