Havent been modelling for quite some time, and the idear of starting a major project was daunting. So instead I launched a small one with an old enemy, the hand.
Donno if its worth posting, or if it can hold any interrest at all. Non the less xD... I did.
Wanted a tech'ish glove, used for combat (maby a sniper). "Low poly" ofc, tho the texture ress is ~512 (dont really care =D).
Since im mosly doing this for the exercise, I'll prolly rig it and post a vid later... or something xD.

Nice painterly texture though, I dig.
I've really been struggling with this one, as I suck at anatomy, rigging and basically anything that dont stand still or can be PS'd away . Keeping polycount low only added to that.

I cut the finger joints on the "lowers side" as I thought they might collapse better when bend.. I should cut it all the way through instead ^^. I agree poop, more detail to the joins.

For some reason I can look a billion times on a shape and still dont get the geometry
Do ya'll start with a box and take it from there? Use ref in ortho or just photos on the sideline?
