sitting at a coffee shop with my crew, ripping apart each others work and drawing people that are in line.
vietnamese coffee (4 shots of esspresso with sweetened condensed milk)
putting my huge archive of other peoples work on slideshow and ignoring it while i scribble on paper until the composition on screen catches my attention out of the corner of my eye, then i geek out a little.
Hey you fuck! I don't send you crap! I send pure goodness to you to get you inspired you unthankful bastard. Wait till I tell your mom...what was her screen name? Haloqueen? QueenofthePillarofAutumn...or some shit like that....

-Browsing through anyone and everyone's portfolio's for more work to put in the "Uber Awesome Work" folder.
I also get pretty motivated throughout the day sitting next to a few friends at school, kinda just feeding off each other. Or we'll glance over and see someone else's poorly done work, which normally motivates me to do even better. Oh...and Coffee.

It's funny how many people listed coffee, tea, and energy drinks which basically means caffeine, gaurana, yohimbe, and various other synthetic and herbal stimulants. With every other drug that was listed there was a big "OMG...JK" kinda comment afterward. I can understand the reservations due to legal issues, but that doesn't seem to be the point thats usually brought up on this forum whenever the drug issue is brought up...usually it's "What a fucking waste0oid, blowing out your brains on drugs thinking that its some how helping your creativity" Yet a good 75% of the posts list an addictive, toxic chemcial as a major creative fuel. I'm not saying it can't be, it can be a damn good one. I just wanted to point out the hypocrisy of lambasting someone claiming to use certain drugs as a source of inspiration with one hand and in the other, guzzling down your 3rd cup of coffee because you "can't do anything in the morning until you've had your coffee"
Lately I have been playing Guitar Hero 2 on my 360 when I need a stress relief and when working listening to Metalocalypse episodes and songs I have in mp3.
