For real?
haha.. wow, Retleks. I was just about to post how we needed a polycounter "inside" at 3dR. Congrats on working on that game, it's gaming history one way or another:P
them constantly looking for programmers is a bad sign
sounds like what happened to daikatana, where after years and years of development the codebase becomes a mess, and a programmer is needed to come in and fix basically the entire thing
Heh, thats a load of speculation there Verm... Honestly I wouldn't be working there if things were as you suggest.
Thanks for kind words. I know it's a small pic, and it doesn't do it justice, but when we're ready, everyone will be appeased.
We're also looking for and environment/fx guy, so if anyone is interested let me know.
After 10 years can you really expect anything but wild speculation? Especially considering that we really havent seen any gameplay footage in what, 6 years? Not trying to badmouth, but i find it hard to believe you could be surprised by people's reactions.
Good luck on the project, and release it sometime in the next 10 years please =D
Completely understandable, its gotta be tough, i'm sure theres tons of cool stuff going on there that you'de just love to show, and all you ever see on the interwebs is negativity.
speculation huh... well i guess i'll throw my bit in...
judging by the small res of the screenshot i would guess the game isn't coming out for PC at all, it'll be for PSP and other future next gen handhelds.
16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and Duke Nukem Forever was found upon the merchant's shelf.
16:9 And mastication and violence against the buttocks were foreseen, but there was a famine of gum.
I won't be excited until a copy was taken home by at least 1 person. A copy that was bought from a major retailer, installed, and played start to finish without crashing. Only then, will I believe that a new Duke Nukem game was completed.

You can't see anything in those.
