I know some of these will be posted on Gameartisans sometime a little later, but thought some of us could share our desktops that we created from the competition. Here is mine, and looking forward to seeing some of the other ones, polycount for the win!

I'm not sure what it is, if its your lighting, or your textures, but it just comes off very flat, its very hard to tell that it has any normals detail.

Looks awesome Brett. A little more specular might have been cool, but crunching like crazy while working on that makes it amazing you even finished

Hey guys, hehe that was fast, yeah Earth this thing did turn out way flat, and my normals were just not showing. I think I just got a little muddy on my diffuse, and didnt depend enough on my spec and normal map. I will try and pull away from doing that in the future:) Thanks MoP, yeah it definetely didnt help, and thanks for my new desktop:)

Its so strange, your entry had some of the best modeling, and the coolest looking flats but when it was put together it just didnt quite work. Maybe you were just trying to do way too much with the diffuse?

gool guys good to see all that I agree with EQ though spark, I really liked your modeling, but you lost a lot of detail in the render I think I'm pretty sure it's nothing to fix but you may want ot have a look at that :S

Really fantastic work, all of you. It's nice to see everyone putting that last bit into the rendering and presentation now that the deadline crunch has been lifted.

Turnaround is great, Mop. I wish I could see more models in that medium. Admiration in the third dimension!
