Animations at beginning of games

Most games have short animations when you start the game for whatever company made/published/had anything to do with the game. Most are pretty boring, but some are pretty sweet. Does anyone know if there's any place to download these animations?

I just installed warhammer mark of chaos and the animation for black hole entertainment is almost more impressive than the game, haven't gotten to far in it. Trying to find it online somewhere but no luck yet.

http://www.gametrailers.com has all kinds of stuff. They have more trailer based animations instead of cinematics, but it all depends on the game.

Cool site, lot of amazing animation on there. Seems to be more of animations for the game, even the cinematics are all for the game itself. I'm trying to find the short promo animations for the companies, not seeing them on that site, not even finding them on the company sites.

I don't think I have ever come across a site that has those kind of things soccerman but maybe if you sent an e-mail to black hole entertainment somebody there might know a place or maybe they would send you an mpeg ? Worth a try .

the id software logo in 97 and 99 are classics

Possibly the video you want can be found in the game folder or on the game CD/DVD? Maybe in an archive or something. Might not work if they use custom codecs or in-house compressed archive system.

black and white had the coolest one. it was interactive. you could mix the little particles up that made up the logo. later in the game, rather than their logo, your player god logo appeared. i thought that was rather clever as well.

Yea the black and white one was pretty cool, especially since I didn't notice it until after playing the game for a while, finding out new cool things about the game.

I tried looking on youtube, couldn't find anything. Maybe I was just searching for the wrong thing, have to dig around a bit more.

I haven't tried digging through other games to see if the vids are available there, but I found what I think is the animation for the warhammer game but it's in an odd .ork file. Crazy orks.
