I just wanted to make a post to congratulate all those who entered the Dominance War, fighting for the big Black & Green.

Extra congratulations goes out to those who finished. It must be quite the ordeal to find the time to enter in such a contest, knowing you're up against some of the finest talent out there, and give it your best.

Looking at the contest from the outside in really opened my eyes to the caliber of talent at this forum - and cemented my reasons even more for my belief that this is the best game art forum out there.

Give yourselves a 'round of applause', you all deserve it.

I went over the entries yesterday and I must agree with Adam, this site, hands down, has some of the most talented people on it that I've ever seen. A lot of raw talent here.

thanks Adam I didn't finish last year but damn I'm happy to have finished this year, whatever the results are, it's an awesome contest, I hope there will be one next year.

the end was quite stressing and I had to rush some stuff but I guess it's the rule, thanks a lot to FredH (and the others if any) for organizing that.

Definitely a HUGE thanks to Fred for getting all this organised for us. It was no undoubtedly a massive task and he did a superb job.
Congrats to all those that finished their entries and good luck! There have been some amazing entries and I will agree what was said about polycount being the best game art forum on the intertron.
I'm just disappointed in myself for giving up so early on!

For someone on the sidelines watching I can say that this has been incredibly inspirational. So great job to everyone. And awesome work.

And I have to agree, after seeing the caliber of model produced by you guys, I don't know how polycount could be anything BUT the best! (Haven't seen many of the other site's models yet though)

I must confess I didn't enter or was really active on the Dom war forum,I was justquitly admiring the talant,spill into the heart and sole of those models,absolutily amazing work guys and congrats those who entered and finished.

I think Gauss deserves a mention here too, even if he didn't even produce a pixel of work. He did a great job of pushing the concepts just that little bit further.

And, of course, lots of praise to Fred. Great organisation.

[Edit] But they are supposed to be making an announcement in 2 hours approximately .

Also it'd be cool if we had a render of the whole polycount army.. might be a hassle to put that together though.
