Hi
I'm working on a model.. When I add the meshsmooth modifier, it looks like the way i want it: all nice squares. But when I render it or export it to zbrush, it get these diamond shapes instead of squares which make it look really crazy. Is there any way of fixing this?

.obj has always worked pretty well for me.
OBJ or FBX are definitely the way to go.

Export to obj, and near the bottom there is a tickbox for compression, and a numerical value.
Switch it off.
And make sure you export as Quads, and not triangles.
1.slap a meshsmooth on that
2.overlay a gradient
3.upload to deviantart
4.?
5.profit!

If you put the vertex scale to about 6 Ive found it fixes this with .obj
