What about that show with robots that all had different traits. One played golf, another baseball, another hockey, one was a chef, etc...

Sonic the Hedgehog also had a show.

I remember they also had that interactive doohickey stuff where you could buy the toys to use during the show when it was on TV. Never quite figured out how those worked, since I never actually bought the toys. Seemed really neat, though.

A lot of these never made it to Australia. I feel deprived not having experienced Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors and Inhumanoids and the rest of the cheap, tacky half hour toy commercials like them. Pirates of Darkwater does actually look pretty good though.

My cousin had one of those toys, but the damn thing never worked. I think his mom bought it at a garage sale or something... all I know is that it sounded like the coolest fucking thing in the world when I was 4 years old, and I was pretty pissed off when it didn't work. His mom told us, "yeah, you shoot stuff on the TV with it and the stuff on the TV shoots back" and I was like, "Nuh uh! NO FUCKING WAY!" (okay, maybe those weren't my exact words). And then when it didn't work I felt so disillusioned.
