Job position research

Hello everyone I'm new to this forum. I'm trying to write a research paper on the following job positions in the game indutry: Lead Animator, Lead Modeler, Lead Enviroment, Lead Programmer, Head Marketing and Itellectual Property. I've noticed that many of you out there work in the industry already so I was hoping if you guys could give me some input realated to these position like an overview of your job. ANd also where else could I find more information about them?

p.s. So far I havent beeing able to find any good info on Itellectual Property in the gaming industry, any ideas?

I'm sure spelling INtellectual Property correctly might help google bring up more info on the correct subject. I don't mean to come off like a dick, just suggesting that might be the reason why you can't find info about it.

I also imagine you need to have a fairly large company to have a guy who's job is solely managing IPs. I imagine someone like that would be burried away behind a desk somewhere so there might not be much info, could be wrong

I think IP manager might be more on the publisher side, not the actual development houses.

IP manager might be the same thing as the marketing department.
