ok a really bad comedy central test pilot. That shows off very little of my skill, the lightings horrible, the camera was an old hi-8, and I had no assistants to hold the puppet while I was on screen. And I had no way to fix any of the lighting errors because all my lights seemed to like blowing out bulbs to the point where I couldn't replace them anymore and I had a deadline which killed my project. I now have a girlfriend to help me hold the puppet and am going to be reexamining the concept with my new blue screen. I also have a new camera which is much clearer. I filmed a few promos testing it out.
I'm building a production studio in my house. I have more experience than these videos let on, I have a broadcasting degree now (which surprisingly gets me very little work), and I actually do lighting designs for a community theater that I also happen to be on the board of.
i'm gonna call shenanigans on the hand-bohemian rhapsody. sounds someone was blowing through a mouthpiece of some brass instrument (most likely trumpet or cornet), not hands farting.
i fucking hate youtube. but i love it at the same time
and lupy, i think Comedy Central tried something like that a few years ago, and pretty sure it didn't do very well.
