I don't know if this has been posted, but I couldn't help myself from posting this... it angers me incredibly, and yet, it makes me laugh at how ignorant some people are at the same time....
So I was sitting around thinking about some programming issues and I suddenly became very thoughtful about how some things in Shadow of the Colossus were handled. I went to Google to possibly find some answers and what do you know, I found this awesome article. Don't know if it's been posted on Polycount before but if you haven't read it, check it out. It's amazing what went into that game.

the only good thing is that these guys even professionals (people which work in the industry of the 2d and or 3d workfield) proof that some as they call it "jokes" are pretty bad.
making a good joke is hard some even can´t say one in their entire life without harming others.
even here on polycount are people who say this "it is only a joke, calm down" just to
put the harmed even more down when the other is trying to say that it wasn´t funny.
Wow. that is pretty awesome. Might be a waste of money but I bet he can sell them for alot more.
If that was done in Britain he's be arrested for defacing the Queens image or something. Can't remember the correct term. Does the US not have a similar law?
Yeah, Stinger we have something just like that. But it's another law NO ONE enforces, unless someone's trying to get elected, or take focus off of important things.
Are we sure that's not photocopied money? I mean, we only ever see one side, and I didn't see anyone say it was REAL money. But even if it is, I'm sure he's selling those things for a lot more than what it took to make them
Seems like it loses it's point a bit if he used photocopies.. the guy seems like a pretty sought after tattoo artist (his rate is $300/hour) so I guess he could afford it (and have the integrity to choose real bills)
anyway I'm with Skamberin, its art not a waste!
edit: I found this on his blog, with the tag 'I made a lousy waiter'
hehe
no we have the constitution:poly124:. There is no law saying we cant use money to do whatever with our money. That would be on a federal level and it would be unconstitutional. Now counterfeiting money, yes but you can if you have it saying this is fake money.
It absolutely is a felony to deface money here in the states as well. As Jeremy said though, it's not really enforced:
Didn't want to start a new thread for this so figured I would post it here:
Trying to find a character portfolio possibly for movies. One of the pieces was a fallen knight half of its body submerged in water with cockroaches around him. It was a pedestal piece and was a video turntable. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
I think we even had a backwater thread. Although it is well worth another watch. And that furniture was posted somewhere as well with the caption "if you need to ask how much it costs...you cant afford it", if I remember rightly.

It's kind of awesome that some of those people will have their lives ruined or at the very least not get hired for a job because of that picture.

That's the best use of money I've seen in a long time, really impressive.
