here is my rough sketch of my character desgin, it is still in the early stage, need to develope the armour and weapons.
This is a female creature which live in the dark world for ages. She survived by sucking the enemies's souls and transform it into
energy to be kept in her body.Over the years, she has accumulated a great power in her body which make her stronger. She used
to stay in the dark world, but now she's dangerous and evil that she has entered the dominance war in craving for greater power.

Pretty cool though
Make her body shape more look like a pregnant women and make it more skinny...still not satisfied with the design of the weapon, perhaps can come our more cool design later.

low poly version
My only suggestion is to use a bump map for the fine deformits on the skin were at the moement it is smooth (skin poors, small wrinkles, moles, etc), combine that with your deformation map and this think will look even better.
rooster, rollin, thanks man, will keep work on it...
Cridder, nice points, i will add a bump map for it at the final stage, coz i m still testing on the normal map result right now, thanks for advice!
Here is the updated of my low polygon modeling...
the faces are the souls captured
this is wat i have so far, will work on the other parts later.

Anyways its looking really great, keep up the hard work
katzeimsack, dun worry, i also dun like the pink magenta head.:p
Cridder, good suggetion, i will take note of it.
here is my new update...
i had generated the normal map for the half body, include head, hand, tummy and armour, total polygon count is 4,200, left 1800 for the bottom body, will reduce some polygon to save it for the legs. I worked on the hires model for the few days ago, cant show all the hires model in once ( up to 5millions polygons ) because of my laptop limitation, too bad :P i hav to carry on with the low poly...
the color shown is the temporary base colour, will work on the texturing on this weekend...hope i can hav more time.
niceee
My two-bits This model is looking sweet
congrats man!

So... were an update of greatness? We have been granted more time so lets see this character pull through to the end.
can see some seam line from this shot, will fix it later...
want some tex-action .. and waiting
nice!
- Looking at your character at first I though, "my she looks unbalanced, even with a large belly" so I looked up some picks on pregant women and tried compairing it to your model. The one thing I noticed is that even when pregant they still curve. Your characters back is alittle to strieght and she has no butt. Even fat non-atractive looking women fall under this. Also it appears that your character has no belly undernieth her loincloth, part of it is her legs to make a crease in the cloth in the front and that from the back veiw there is nothing there when there should be some over hunging belly. I tried makeing a visual example of what I am trying to say below.
I can tell that lighting and texturing is still to come so I will not comment on them until your on that stage. This gal is looking really great, did you mean for the belly brace to look like a face? Cause I just noticed it and it looks really cool. If you were still going to work more on the Hi-Rez I would suggest making it look alittle more like one.
My two-bits Keep up the hard work.

beauty shot
Here are some quick suggestions:
If you don't have anymore time that is ok, I just think that it would be more fitting.
As for the beauty pass, I dont know if you are finished or not but here is my two-bits:
The rocks in the bottom right look to real compaired to the model, the trees and stuff in the back ground look to quickly photoshop painted compared to the 3D character. The lighting on the character doesn't quite match that of the background. I would suggest putting the background pick on a grid in the background and try to match the lights in your scene with your character, and add volumetric lighting on your character.
If this is ending up to take to much time to try and make the character match the scene then I suggest a different scene. Maybe inside a cave or something.
Anyways those are my two-bits worth of suggestions if you have time. If you dont, dont thret about it. Your guy looks totally sweet. Could we see a turn around and texture flats?
