Some nice modelling man! That's a damn big booster pack, he might look a bit unbalanced with that massive thing on his back, but what's important is that it looks cool
Your right, I noticed this a little while ago, been thinking of ways I can slim the design down a bit. Hopefully if I get around to rigging him I'll be able to counteract some of the weight issues with posing.
but maybe try blocking out the body first and then defining details
so you can go on with lowpoly and texture if the time runs out and you still have some degree of details all over the body .. if you have time left you can spent it on further defining
Almost done with modeling the arm, just have to do the thumb. I'm not going to bother with the forearm too much because I'm going to cover it up with armour.
I lost a fair bit of time because modo corrupted my work file and I lost 2 days of work....autosave is off by default ....I wasn't happy. Anyway, I doubt I'll get this guy done in time for the contest, but I'm still going to work on him. I did this mostly just so I could learn new modeling techniques, and I think in that respect it's been pretty productive
