yeah. looked good but i was hoping for a glimpse of Venom. wasn't expecting them to have Sandman be the guy who killed Uncle Ben though.

The lack of venom makes me very happy. This means that venom wont be a major villain. Also did you notice who spiderman was asking help from? Look close at the background balcony.

i hope there is a decent character relationship thats developed between peter and eddie brock in the movie. the trailer gave off a darker more ominous feel than the 2 previous movies had going for them and after this movie is released, i can only imagine how batshit insane cool it will be to have venom as an enemy O_O

With each new trailer, I am losing more and more interest in this film. The shot of Sandman being kicked next to the subway? That looks friggin horrible! And Sandman killed Ben? How is that supposed to hold up? Didn't they already wrap that up in 1? I mean the guy shot and stole Ben's car, and was already being tailed by the police all within the space of about 5 minutes. So there were 2 bad guys now? Why wasn't the second in the car then? I call BS. They just needed a way to bring out emotion in Peter.

And where was Gwen?

I was thinking the same... but I'm holding complete judgement until I see the movie. Hopefully that gets explained (Like maybe he was working with the guy that drove off). I think they should have left that out of the trailer though.

They still have half a year to 'tighten up the graphics'.

The Hulk trailers looked bad, but the effects got better and better the closer the film got to release and they would re render scenes with better lighting passes with each new trailer.

i'm thinking most of what is in the trailer takes place in the first half or 1/3rd of the film with the rest having to do with Venom. (the first two movies were just over 2hours.)

So far the movie is lining up very well with my theory of how the movie will play out.

I don't think i'll post it as it might be too close to how the real movie plays out.

I guess this was already discussed when the teaser came out, but what do you guys think about the way they've done the black goo? I think it's really cool how it's not like the typical CG liquid that we've been seeing for years in movies but looks a lot more like some amorphous living thing. The sand is also pretty well done in some shots like when Spidey punches through him.

yeah , still i think you will only see him on the end Of spiderman 3 , Venom will apear maybe at the last seconds like in that trailer, onto spiderman 4...youll see eheheh...why waste venom on a movie that has sandman ( they think ) ?

looks sweet, but WHY THE FUCK DO THEY HAVE TO SHOW EVERYTHING IN THE TRAILERS THESE DAYS! like why did they have to show him ripping off the parasite in the church after ringing the bell to weaken it's powers? thats like the key fucking part to the movie!

I was actually reading a press release thing on the movie. People were questioning about the uncle ben thing. I guess in the movie they know peter parker is spiderman because in the comment they said the police lied to peter saying sandman was his uncles murderer so he would go out of his way to capture him for the police. Dont hate me but this is what I read.

I got a few screen caps of venom for u guys.

He looks kind of skinney and not bulked up like in the comics.
